This section enables data downloads from the app using a THREDDS service, which is described below.

THREDDS

The�THREDDS Data Server (TDS)�is a web server that provides access to scientific data and metadata using standard remote data access protocols such as�OPeNDAP, WMS, WCS and HTTP. TDS is developed and maintained by�Unidata, a division of the�University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), and is funded by the�National Science Foundation. This THREDDS service enables access to data hosted on the website by means of the following structure:

  • Observations (daily data): data with a temporal resolution of daily
  • Observations (annual data): data from observations spanning a whole year (corresponding to the information shown in time series)
  • o Observations (climatology): data pertaining to observations during the reference climate periods (corresponding to the information displayed on the maps)
  • RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 scenarios projections (daily data): data from climate projections with a temporal resolution of daily
  • RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 scenarios projections (daily data): data from climate projections spanning a whole year (corresponding to the information shown in time series)
  • RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 scenarios projections (climatology): data from climate projections during the reference climate periods (corresponding to the information displayed on the maps)
